About three weeks ago I finished a manuscript I’ve been working on for about a year. When I started my calendar for Lent on March 5 I was so burned out on words, I decided to just draw crosses. If words come while I sit with the crosses I won’t chase them away, but for now I’m okay with my mind uncluttered by letters and words and paragraphs.
Eugene Peterson’s version of Galatians 6:14 about the cross in The Message speaks to me:
For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate.
is this a later version of the calendar? the one I printed out does not have all the dates on it.. this one is helpful….as I get lost in my journey sometimes… oh yes
Hi Connie,
This is the Starburst calendar on the Handouts page. It has been there all along. Maybe you printed the Path Calendar which was last year’s with the dates removed. Sorry for the confusion.
One image + so many beautiful interpretations = No words needed! (OK…maybe GREAT! and THANKS for sharing, Sybil. : – )
